USC TE Cameron compares to Saints? Graham

With all 32 NFL teams in attendance, 21 players worked out Wednesday at USC’s pro day.
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett, Chargers coach Norv Turner and Packers general manager Ted Thompson were among the 75 NFL representatives on hand.
While OT Tyron Smith was the highlight of the day, there were several other prospects who worked out at the NFL Scouting Combine trying to improve their draft stock.

Hand injured late
Whitney Hand, who was sidelined 15 months following two surgeries on her right knee, limped noticeably in the final minute of Oklahoma’s 88-83 win over Miami following a hard fall on Tuesday. TV cameras showed Hand begging coach Sherri Coale to go back in.
“I just turned an ankle,” Hand said. “I’m good.”
Hand scored a career-high 27 points, but Coale wasn’t sure her sophomore guard was going to play.

Duxbury girls wins D2 hockey title

 

When it came down to the final minutes, Duxbury delivered. 
 
The Green Dragons handed Division 2 powerhouse Fontbonne a 2-1 upset in the state final to collect its first-ever Division 2 state championship. The victory snaps the two-game advantage Fontbonne has had over the Green Dragons the past two years, knocking them out of the state semifinals, 4-3, 3-0.
 
With 45.5 seconds left to play, Duxbury sophomore Hannah Murphy scored to make it 2-1 with junior defenseman Martha Findley and sophomore forward Briana Connolly on the assist to lift the Green Dragons. The Green Dragons (21-3) outshot Fontbonne 32-16 and

Flint Beecher's boys basketball team downs Hanover-Horton to claim fourth straight regional champion

 

SPRINGPORT -Flint Beecher's boys basketball team was supposed to be on the easier side of draw for the Class C state basketball tournament.
Three of the state's top-five programs - top-ranked and defending state champion Melvindale Academy, Detroit Consortium, ranked No. 4, and Saginaw Buena Vista, ranked No. 6 - were all in the opposite side of the draw, leaving the door to the state semifinals March 24 at the Breslin Center in East Lansing wide open for the Buccaneers.

Union Rejects N.F.L.?s Offer to Share More Financial Data

 

N.F.L. players union officials on Tuesday rejected an offer from the owners to turn over audited profitability data from all 32 teams for the past several years. The offer, made Monday night, was the first time the owners indicated a willingness to share financial information with the players beyond what is required by the collective bargaining agreement.
Union leaders told the owners’ negotiating committee that they wanted each club’s audited full financial statements, according to two people who was briefed on the talks.
The standoff could significantly hamper negotiations because union officials have indicated they will not make any more
